Tracks for Future/Graves in Past
China has spent decades laying tracks for the future, we’ve been digging graves in the past. They’ve built cities, schools, trains that move faster than thought. We’ve built military bases, debt, and an empire of rust. China chose infrastructure. We chose interference. They built railways across continents. We bombed bridges across borders. They invested in AI, medicine, and education. We invested in overthrowing oil-rich governments We spent $300 billion trying to bend the world to our will. They spent it making their own nation unshakable. We don’t have high-speed trains. We don’t have roads that last. We don’t have universal healthcare, Or education systems that top the charts. We do have the most advanced weapons on Earth, Pointed at every direction but inward. It’s to our own addiction to dominance. And Our refusal to invest in anything we can’t control. A devastating read. It sent chills down my spine when, a day later, I read the poem I "created" from President Jimmy Carter's words. China has spent decades laying tracks for the future, we’ve been digging graves in the past. They’ve built cities, schools, trains that move faster than thought. We’ve built military bases, debt, and an empire of rust. Tracks for the future graves in the past. An empire of rust - a vivid presentation of America today: rusting, needing repair. They've built trains that move faster than thought. He nailed it -- faster than thought. Infrastructure vs Interference. Just think about it. Infra, internal, structure. Interference: the preface "inter" means "between." Yep, between others we interfere. We go out there, get them. We don't go inside, internally, infrastructure. Nope. Let's go out there interfere -- between. They invested in AI, medicine, and education. We invested in overthrowing oil-rich governments We have the most advanced weapons on Earth, pointed at every direction but inward. Lately, weapons have been pointed inwards as we root out the enemy within. Who is the enemy within? Wait and see. Meanwhile "We spent $300 billion trying to bend the world to our will." We have spent much more. We have spent trillions trying to bend the world to our will. Please re-read President Carter's words that began this piece.
